I just recieved one of those bb broadcast of another possible air disaster. What is really happening to our aviation industry? Why are we toying with human lives as though they are toys that can be replaced when broken? Cannot the Federal Government be seroius about the lives of its citizens, this same citizens that voted them in in the first place?
The broadcast was about Aero Contractor airline. One of its plane, AJ133, bound for Abuja yesterday had a failed engine ten minutes after take off. The pilot had to turn back to Lagos so as to avert another air disaster. The same thing happened with their Lagos bound flight from Port Harcourt, this time the plane hadn't taken off. The engine couldn't start and the passangers were in the plane for fourty-five minutes. Passengers were told to alight from the plane to avoid collapsing due to air loss. I wonder if it was the same plane used in the aborted Port Harcourt flight that was again used in the Abuja flight?
Please if this is true, relevant authorities should take note of these airlines whose main goal is to line their coffers and not the safety of its paying customers. People should not have to pay exorbitant fair to die. Let not the Dana ill-fated flight repeat itself, PLEASE.
